Most Popular in 2009! Four Hour Fly Fishing Program
Grab some friends! Bring the family! Our four hour program is a fun
and economical way to discover the sport of fly fishing. Whether you are
just beginning, or wanting to learn more advanced tactics YFFS can structure
a program to suit your individual needs. Time will be spent both on land and
water improving your fly fishing skills. The techniques used in the program will
improve your casting, presentation, and overall knowledge of fly fishing. Two
levels are available: beginner, and intermediate/advanced. Please call
for further details regarding this program. Class fee is $225 for one student,
$25 for each additional student (3 max. per class). For larger groups,
call for details.

Women's One Day Fly Fishing School, Saturday, April 17th
This class is being offered by Matt Wilhelm and Molly Semenik. Molly and
Matt have been working together for over seven years and both feel that a fun,
informative and professionally conducted class is a great way to introduce women
to the sport. This class is a great first step in becoming a confident
student of fly fishing. The goal is to provide enough basic fly fishing
skills to instill the knowledge, confidence and the desire to become an independent
angler! Topics will include: Fly tackle/gear, knots, rigging your rod,
insect identification, selecting a fly, reading the water, casting, and wading
safety, and fishing on the Yellowstone! Class fee is $150 and includes
lunch and handouts.

Join FFF Master Certified Fly Casting Instructor Bill Toone at Outdoor
Warehouse for these great classes that will get you tuned up for a great
summer of fishing.
May 8th - Four hour
introduction to fly fishing class - two person minimum. Class
fee $60 per person.
June 2nd - Free
fly casting lessons from 4:45pm – 6:45pm
June 5th - Two
hour class: Mending and Presentation. $40 per person – 2
student minimum.
Two Hour Fly Casting Clinics at Chico Hot Springs Resort
Join YFFS and tune up your casting skills! Make a difference in your fishing
success by improving your fly casting. Our casting classes are designed
for groups and individuals of all abilities and ages. Every class is tailored
to the needs of each student, and to all levels of experience in a relaxed and
fun environment. All materials and handouts are provided. Gear will
be provided if necessary. Class fee is $70. The casting
clinics willrun from June through September. Pre-registration is required. Call

School at Yellowstone Valley Lodge
This 4 night / 3 day instructional fly fishing school will cover basic equipment
(like your new fly fishing gear!), knots, entomology (insect
identification), casting, on stream fishing strategies & techniques, reading
water, and lots of fishing! This three day course will include hands on learning
in a classroom setting and time on the water each day with 2 students and 1 professional
instructor / guide. Lodging will be provided by Yellowstone
Valley Lodge on the banks of the Yellowstone
River and dining is provided by Paradise Valley Grill.
For every individual that signs up for our Montana Fly Fishing School
we will give you a St. Croix Rio Santo fly fishing outfit! This high

- All Packages Include: Lodging, breakfast, lunch, dinner,
flies and terminal tackle on your fishing trips.
- Packages Do Not Include: Montana
fishing licenses, guide and staff gratuities.
- Staff and Guide Gratuities: If you are satisfied with the service
of our Staff, we request a staff gratuity in the range of $25
to $35 per person per night. Gratuities for fishing guides
commonly range from $75 to $100 a day. If possible, please
plan to make tips in cash.
